Your Diamond ring or jewellery item is of the highest standard and quality. However, there are some simple things you can do to minimise damage from general wear and tear and improve its longevity.

Here are some easy steps Renato Jewellers recommends.

• Clean it – Every 6 months, soak your ring in warm water and liquid soap or a solution from a jewellery cleaning kit.You can also regularly buff up your ring with a jewellery cleaning cloth. Once a year, we can professionally cleaned and inspected the jewellery item free of charge. ( Pearls and coloured gem stones, we highly recommend that you call our customer service department to clarify the process of cleaning certain gem stones.
• Protect it – Keep your ring away from harsh chemicals by taking it off at appropriate times and storing it properly.
• Take it off – Remove your diamoond jewellery while doing activities such playing sport, swimming, housework or gardening.
• Store it – When you’re not wearing your jewellery, keep it in a fabric lined case or jewellery package supplied by Renato Jewellers. It’s easy to forget where you’ve placed it, so keep it in the same designated place every time. This will also keep it safe from chemical exposure and dirt.
